The Association of Arab Universities (AArU) is proud to announce the results of the Arab Ranking for Universities 2025, offering an objective and comprehensive evaluation of Arab universities’ performance in education, scientific research, innovation and entrepreneurship, local and international collaboration, and community service. This ranking reinforces academic and research excellence in the Arab region and serves as a key reference for students, faculty members, and university decision-makers.
Top 10 Universities in 2025:

2️⃣ United Arab Emirates University – United Arab Emirates
3️⃣ Sultan Qaboos University – Oman
4️⃣ University of Jordan – Jordan
5️⃣ Abu Dhabi University – United Arab Emirates
6️⃣ King Khalid University – Saudi Arabia
7️⃣ Cairo University – Egypt
8️⃣ University of Sharjah – United Arab Emirates

The 2025 ranking reflects significant growth in participation, including 236 universities from 20 Arab countries, highlighting the expansion of the ranking and the promotion of academic competitiveness across the region.
Participation Details:
285 universities from 20 Arab countries applied for the ranking.
236 universities met the ranking criteria, an increase of 56 universities compared to 2024, with 4 new Arab countries participating.
