PRESS RELEASE Corporate Social Responsibility at the Heart of Arab Innovation and Investment The Arab Council for Social Responsibility and Sustainable D

At a moment when the Arab world is navigating questions of transformation and future-building, the Arab Council for Social Responsibility and Sustainable Development (ACSR)participated in the preparatory forum for the fifth edition of the Innovest Arab Forum 2026, held under the banner of “Towards an Innovative Arab System for Investing in Promising Opportunities.” The event took place at the Main Hall of the Arab League Headquarters in Cairo, under the auspices and in cooperation with the League of Arab States, on Thursday, June 4, 2026. The Council’s participation signals a clear conviction: corporate social responsibility is no longer a supporting role—it is a strategic partner in building sustainable investment ecosystems.
ACSR Representation at the Forum
The Arab Council for Social Responsibility and Sustainable Development was represented at the forum by:
Prof. Dr. Randa Rizk — President, Arab Council for Social Responsibility and Sustainable Development
Ms. Eman Fathy — Member, Supreme Advisory Board of the Council
The Council’s participation centered on attending and following discussions directly relevant to its mandate, particularly sessions addressing corporate social responsibility, sustainable development, women’s empowerment, innovation, entrepreneurship, responsible investment, and the digital economy.
From Peripheral to Strategic: A New Role for CSR
The Council’s engagement at Innovest reflects a firm institutional belief: that social responsibility must evolve from an add-on activity into a core driver of innovation and economic growth. When artificial intelligence, entrepreneurship, women’s empowerment, and startup incubation converge in a shared space, social impact ceases to be a by-product—it becomes an embedded objective.
The Council engaged closely with sessions touching on responsible investment, inclusive digital economies, Arab women’s leadership in innovation, and the transformative potential of startups in achieving sustainable development goals—all of which align directly with ACSR’s strategic priorities.
